Appearance
Articles
Api3 now uses X Articles alongside its posts/tweets to reach its public audience. Going forward articles will be used in place of blog posts. Many major web3 players are doing the same. The benefit is that web3 loves X and use it on a daily basis. Blob posts cannot get in the face of the web3 community the way X articles can in that articles integrate nicely with X Posts/tweets.
The current Api3 blog site will be preserved without new posts. X articles will be the new home for blog type posts and other long content that serve web3 community with regards to Api3 communications. The current blog will have a sub-heading telling the community to X and include a link.
Delegation
X premium and premium+ accounts (as well as business accounts) can publish articles. Business accounts can have affiliate users at a base cost of $10,000 USD per year. Premium accounts cannot have affiliate users but can have delegates the @Api3DAO account owner can invite to do posts, reposts, quotes and articles on behave of the account holder.
Setting up delegates is a simple process. The account owner invites account X account to becomes a delete. The invited account can use any X plan including a free account. The deleted user will use the privileges of the @Api3DAO account.
See the X Help Center on how to manage delegation.
Multi-user editing
Google docs can have multiple users edit the same document at the same time, X does not. When editing an article be sure to reload the article to get the latest changes. Also reload the list of articles to get any changes such as new or deleted articles.
Article structure
Using the X editor will be instrumental in keeping structure the same for all Api3 articles.
- Add an image to the top of the article. The editor will suggest sizing.
- Add an title (between the top image and the author banner). The title is not part of the article markdown content.
- Write the content using the
Subheadingto break up the body. - Use the
Bodymarkdown element for plain text of the article. - Use other elements available in the editing bar at the top of the editor. Going outside of the list of available elements could cause the article to render poorly for future releases of X.
